Introduction to the job

The Logistics Supplier Manager (LSM) is responsible to drive Logistics Management and Operational Performance of a selected number of key suppliers in the ASML Logistics Supply Chain. The LSM is a member and representing Logistics in the Supplier Account Team, a multi-disciplinary team, that strategically and operationally manages these suppliers on Quality, Logistics, Technology, Costs and Sustainability (QLTCS).

Role and responsibilities

  • Monitoring, controlling and optimizing the performance of selected suppliers
  • Representation and responsibility of logistical aspects in Supplier Account Teams (SATs)
  • Ensuring availability of capacity to meet short and long term needs along the supply chain
  • Identification and management of risks in the n-tier supply chain
  • Implement and drive improvement actions based on supplier performance, assessment and audit results
  • Technical leadership of cross-functional teams and improvement projects

Education and experience

  • Master degree in Supply Chain Management, or similar Bachelors with relevant experience 
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in sourcing, supply chain, logistics or similar areas in High tech industries
  • Extensive experience in negotiating across multiple regions/countries
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office products and experience in using ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Analytical mindset and very good communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Willingness to travel
