Lean Senior Specialist (m/f/d)
Introduction to the job
In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics.
Role and responsibilities
- Contributing to the designing and implementing of lean transformations as a team member, sub-project and project manager for the various manufacturing divisions
- Supporting the development and implementation of medium- and long-term lean strategies
- Developing and leading change management activities as well as holding improvement workshops to establish a continuous improvement culture
- Identifying waste and potential for improvement as well as implementing the improvement plans
- Analyzing and assisting in improving company value streams and processing times
- Working closely with various company functions and organizational levels on projects and improvements and ensuring sustainable implementation
- Acting as a multiplier between operational excellence and the specialist divisions to establish a long-term lean way of working
- Cooperating with the ASML Group’s interfaces to identify and use "best practices”
- Training and coaching ASML staff with regard to lean principles and practices
- You will report to the lean management team in our operational excellence division
Education and experience
- Successfully completed studies in the engineering sciences field
- Many years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Extensive experience and knowledge gained from managing projects in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Extensive expert knowledge of lean and process improvement tools and experience in lean implementation and execution
- Passion for continuous improvement and a “thinking outside the box” mentality
- Strong analytical skills, high sense of responsibility and an independent and proactive approach to work
- Strong communication and presentation skills regarding all organizational levels
- Excellent MS Office skills, SAP knowledge will be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German and English
