We are a high-tech company and leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce integrated circuits or computer chips. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. More than 1.400 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our facility in Berlin.

Role and responsibilities

  • Program and project management regarding how factory and layout planning is implemented, project realization, relocation and ramp-up planning
  • Responsibility for successful project completion involving all planning teams and cooperating with the facility management
  • Developing and implementing workplace-related concepts and office space planning
  • Implementing material flow studies, defining production process concepts and procedures as well as creating higher-level logistics concepts for industrial buildings
  • CAD facility planning and detailed layout planning using LEAN premises to ensure ideal and waste-free resource usage
  • Introducing and maintaining division and process-specific KPIs
  • Coordinating, action planning and developing process analyses and project proposals with significant, measurable improvement potential
  • Monitoring and tracking the statuses of all improvement projects and communicating with the responsible stakeholders in the event of any deviations from the plan
  • Ensuring compliance with the specifications regarding deadlines and project costs
  • Running and analyzing cost and profitability calculations
  • Collaboration with internal and external ASML partners

Education and experience

  • Completed technical or business studies (Master/Diploma)
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position is nice to have
  • Sound knowledge and experience in factory and layout planning
  • Experience with production and logistics optimization using lean principles and software-supported process presentation
  • Extensive experience in managing optimization projects in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary project teams
  • High sense of responsibility, analytical thinking and an independent proactive approach
  • Independent implementing and structuring skills as well as a great ability to work under pressure in parallel project management and tasks
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for all levels within the organization
  • Good knowledge of SAP, CAD and Microsoft Office
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Fluent German is a nice to have
