Introduction to the job
ASML is the world's largest supplier of lithography systems to the semiconductor industry and perhaps it is also the most important technology company that you've never heard of! More than 1,600 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our ASML facility in Berlin.
Role and responsibilities
You will complete a bachelor's degree in business administration/industry, during which your theoretical and practical phases will alternate between the Berlin College of Economics and Law and ASML Berlin GmbH. You will be prepared for senior specialist and management tasks with a wide range of applications, e.g. in accounting, sales, marketing, international management and HR in industry. You will also have to deal with financial accounting/balancing, corporate taxation, cost and performance accounting, mathematics for economists and operation/statistics research.
- Obtaining quotations, ordering goods, e.g. raw materials, auxiliary materials or office supplies.
- Accepting and checking goods, delivery notes and invoices, calculating prices
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders, negotiating with customers, providing customer advice and support.
- Supporting the order completion process, e.g. by providing service and logistics
- Selling the company’s products and services
- Planning advertising, sales promotion activities and trade fair appearances
- Keeping accounts, checking payment documents and sending reminders for outstanding debts
- Determining and planning staffing levels
- Wage and salary accounting
Education and experience

- General university or technical college entrance qualification with good to very good grade point average
- Interest in economic contexts
- Personal responsibility, independence and organizational skills
- Assertiveness, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Good command of English
- Ideally this will be your first experience in the commercial field
